Business Catalyst Groups are year-long master class programs designed for owners, executives, and professionals who want to elevate performance and prepare for what’s ahead. These video-based groups meet monthly for interactive discussions, practical application, and shared accountability, creating a collaborative space to address real-world business challenges. Alongside the group sessions, each participant also receives a private one-on-one coaching call with Gary every month, ensuring the lessons connect directly to their goals and day-to-day decisions.

Within the Business Catalyst track, there are two group options: Business Transition Groups, designed to guide companies through succession and ownership changes, and Team Building Groups, focused on strengthening leadership and collaboration.

All Catalyst Groups are conducted virtually. The specifics of each group (including monthly cost, number of meetings, meeting duration, and additional coaching, as examples) will be tailored to the group’s needs. Flexibility is built into the program to ensure each group’s priorities are met, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.

The goal of every successful team should be to produce consistent and improving results. It has been my experience, over the past forty years in the business world, that most teams struggle with consistency and fall significantly short of their potential.

I guide teams through the improvement process by using several highly successful consulting frameworks that have a proven track record of enhancing team performance. The goal of this catalyst group is to help an organization cultivate a healthy culture characterized by open communication, which in turn fosters a cohesive team. Once we have a cohesive team, we can teach it to be more innovative.

Business Transition Groups

Successfully transitioning an organization from one generation to the next, or to an outside investor, requires intentional effort that reaches beyond the focus of a purchase agreement. Whenever a business changes ownership and new leaders emerge, a new culture accompanies them. Business transitions are the definition of culture change. And anytime an organization undergoes a culture change, there is unresolved conflict to address. Successful transitions occur when an organization learns how to resolve conflict in healthy ways.

With proper guidance, this can lead a team to become more cohesive. Cohesive teams significantly outperform dysfunctional ones. The new, better, and more dynamic teams can then leverage their strengths to become innovative powerhouses that stay ahead in a constantly changing marketplace. This Catalyst Group is ideal for companies preparing to transition to new ownership, with two available formats: Open and Closed Groups.

Open Groups

Up to eight leaders, usually from different companies and/or industries. The openness of this format encourages more diverse discussions that can lead to better solutions. The open groups will often continue beyond the completion of a business transition and become an ongoing Business Leaders Mastermind group.

Closed Groups

Up to eight leaders, usually from different companies and/or industries. The openness of this format encourages more diverse discussions that can lead to better solutions. The open groups will often continue beyond the completion of a business transition and become an ongoing Business Leaders Mastermind group.
